Dr. Jack Underschultz

President of Nafasi Opportunity Society

Jack Underschultz is the President of Nafasi Opportunity Society where he uses his decade of global development experience to help guide Nafasi’s incredible team. He has spent extensive time in East Africa collaborating on meaningful projects with local and Canadian organizations in the education, clean water, and medical fields. His passion stems from believing everyone deserves an equal opportunity.

Jack is also an Executive with Innovative Canadians for Change where he is involved in strategic operations across a diverse portfolio of projects. Specifically, Jack leads CeraMaji Ltd, a Kenyan ceramic water filter social enterprise, as well as the Kenyan Innovative Manufacturing Space and Social Entrepreneurship Academy.

Jack has worked within the Financial Investment and Mergers and Acquisitions industries and is now currently an Emergency Medicine resident at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. Jack also works within the Global Health medical community with a research focus on innovative medical technology and infectious disease prevention.
