Dr. Jaspreet Khangura

Jaspreet is an emergency physician and clinical assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Alberta. She received her MD from the University of British Columbia and holds an MSc in Evidence Based Health Care (EBHC), with Distinction, and an MSc in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford, where she studied as a Rhodes Scholar. Jaspreet completed her Royal College specialty training at the University of Alberta.
As part of her EBHC thesis she looked at models of primary and emergency care delivery. Jaspreet is interested in policy, social determinants of health and investigating ways to improve health care systems and vulnerable populations' health.
